Free Mososh

I had a headache last night so Esther made this for me. In case you don't know, mososh means massage!

Flashback Friday

In the fall of 2003, we went to a retreat center on Lake Michigan for a conference (for work). I worked while Lee played Mr. Mom. Esther was 2 and Alex a few months old. I have always loved the pictures from the trip.

I'm Cheap, I Know

Here is what I bought today for $8.00: a Christmas dress (Limited) for Esther for next year, a skirt (Old Navy) for me, a long sleeve t-shirt for me, two summer shirts for Esther, a t-shirt for Alex, and five kinds of yarn for Esther to use for fingertip knitting (her new obsession). (Incidentally, Emma was the only kid with me at the thrift store and she's the only one who got nothing. She was not happy.) Some people are above buying other people's stuff, but I just think it's smart. Can't get "greener" than wearing used clothing.

Movie Day

Since the kids didn't have school on Monday, they invited some neighbors over for a movie. We provided popcorn, and everyone brought their own drink. We watched Ella Enchanted (free from library). It was great cheap entertainment and a super time killer on a long day!

Yoga

Not sure why, but Esther, Emma, and our neighbor decided to energize their spirits with some yoga.

Bat Daddy

We celebrated Lee's birthday in January. I haven't posted anything on the blog for awhile because of technical difficulties with our camera (or rather, difficulties with my knowledge of how to use the camera). Emma chose a Batman cake for Daddy, so Alex was happy to get in on the theme.
